Who We're Looking For

Anam Cara is looking for compassionate, caring, and supportive staff and volunteers who are wanting to make a difference and help the people of Geelong.

Our staff includes a highly skilled range of medical and professional staff, and we are looking for people to join our team who are passionate about providing quality care to those at the end of their life.
The volunteers at Anam Cara House Geelong are our gold. From all walks of life, they fulfil many roles including Office & Administration, Day and Overnight Palliative Care, Housekeeping, End-of-life Care and Transport.

Registered and Enrolled Palliative Care Nurses

We are committed to offering support to people, their families and carers who are
seeking person-centred palliative and end of life care within the Geelong and wider region.  Our services will include 24 hour end of life care, day and
overnight palliative care, community outreach and equipment loan.

Care occurs in a unique, home like environment with best practice clinical care including support from trained palliative care volunteers.

The focus of person-centred palliative care is on the quality of life, symptom management and comfort.

Guest Care Assistants ~ Part time

The position of Guest Care Assistant plays a vital role in providing compassionate and holistic care to guests at Anam Cara House Geelong. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of guests while supporting the overall functioning of the facility.

This multifaceted position includes providing personal care, cleaning and sanitation, laundry services and food services.

Guest Care Assistant Position

Anam Cara House Geelong is taking expressions of interest for our upcoming Information Sessions about a number of Clinical roles.

Anam Cara House Geelong is an inclusive workplace that encourages diversity. Our focus of person-centred palliative care is on quality of life, symptom management and comfort.

With our new purpose-built, 20 bed facility opening late 2022 at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds, we are taking expressions of interest for our upcoming July Information Sessions about a number of Clinical roles. Recruiting for these roles will commence in August 2022.
