NEW GENERAL MANAGER ANNOUNCED AS NURSE PRACTITIONER KERRY DMYTRENKO
Local community hospice Anam Cara House Geelong has appointed specialist nurse practitioner Kerry Dmytrenko as its new general manager.
According to Anam House Geelong Board Chair Diana Taylor, Ms Demytrenko has been Health Operations Manager at Anam Cara House Geelong since November 2016 and brings over thirty years of nursing experience including significant expertise caring for people with a life-limiting illness.
“Kerry possesses deep insights into the nuances of care for people with life-limiting conditions. She is passionate about working with the Anam Cara team and is an energetic and tenacious person who rises to the challenge,” Ms Taylor said.
Ms Dmytrenko trained at Geelong Hospital and holds a number of Post Graduate Degrees including a Masters of Nursing (Palliative Care) and Masters in Health Management. Kerry is also an endorsed Nurse Practitioner.
“Kerry will be an integral part of Anam Cara Geelong as we move towards an exciting future. With new State Government funding to support the delivery of our services, Kerry’s strong track record, and honest and transparent management style, has already proven invaluable in leading her team through organisation wide-change.

Anam Cara House Geelong continues to grow and evolve, and we are thrilled to have Kerry at the forefront managing the organisation,” Ms Taylor said.
