A brand new state-of-the-art home for people living with a life-limiting illness.

Due to the growing demand, we’ve outgrown our 4-bedroom facility. Stage 1 of our brand new world-class home is due for completion late 2022 at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds.

Tom shares why he has chosen to support and be Anam Cara House Geelong’s Appeal Ambassador for our Community Giving Day on March 31 2022. Our target is to raise $1M, with all funds going towards the completion of our new state-of-the-art home at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds.

What We Do

Anam Cara House Geelong is a not-for-profit organisation providing support and care for people living with a life-limiting illness.

In a unique, home-like environment, our guests are given choice and dignity when it matters most. Our home and services are available to everyone in the Geelong and wider region, no matter what their life circumstances may be. We provide a range of person-centred palliative care services, with best practice clinical care and support from trained palliative care volunteers. We’re committed to the highest level of comfort and care for our guests, with support extended to families and carers.

The new Anam Cara House Geelong

A brand new state-of-the-art home for people living with a life-limiting illness.

Due to growing demand, we’ve outgrown our 4-bedroom facility. We’re so excited to announce that stage 1 of the new Anam Cara House Geelong is due for completion in late 2022. This new home will be located in a beautiful rural setting with elevated views at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds. Architecturally designed with 20 private bedrooms, open communal areas and landscaped gardens, this new sanctuary has been carefully designed to feel like a home for guests, their families and carers.

  • You can still find us at 1 Riverview Tce, Belmont, Geelong until the new build is complete.
